Python 2.7 for iOS App Reviews

I am relatively new to Python, but seasoned programmer in other languages. This implementation blew me away. Especially the easy switch between the interactive, script and document mode. While others reported crashes, I didnt experience a crash yet (going through tutorial examples and expanding, for 4 months by now). Congrats!

A lot of crashes! Regarding the last update, probably not ready for iOS 7! Also, is not easy to play with the editor. Finally, cannot change the font size! In conclusion, not able to use it...

UPDATE NEEDED. crashes often on the most powerful iPad out. Its an app to write code you would think the app would be better and clearer.

Frequent updates and bug fixes. The developer also proactively takes suggestions from the community on how to make the app better. This app has all the features that you would ever need in an iOS version of python. Multiple tabs for interpreted and scripted modes. A tab for documentation. The ability to customize font color, size, as well as indents and arrow keys for easy navigation. I picked up this app 2 months ago and through its use I have taught myself a good amount of python by doing tutorials, and solving problems on Project Euler. I am very happy with my purchase and hope the developers continues to make python for iOS better in the future.

I remembered BASIC interpreters of 80s personal computers. Now we can evaluate simple algorithms also in a flight or a commuter train. Pretty fun!!

The Idea is excellent but this application doesnt work now.

app crash. probably version 1.5 worked. version 1.4 worked fine. with iPod touch 4, iOS 5.1.1.

Its nice to use implementation. Very helpful during python learning in the park io just for writing some simple scripts... Its still iphone keybord which is issue... But with external keyboard is gr8 stuff!

It is a great app for interpreting Python code. I hope some day it will enable you to write fully blown applications, with external modules, some API to native iOS features. Right now it has interpreter, ability to load & execute Python files, and to see the documentation. Nice tool.

Nice app, thanks. I transfered it iPad 3, the interpreter only shows welcome string but does not seem to run the commands. Pls investigate.

The program does not run on iPad 2. It crashes after a start screen.

But it should be SQLite module in it!!!

The app is great. The only one, its possible to code on iPad with. But in landscape mode a part of interface disappears, and it would be great to have a better support of hardware keyboard.

Could you improve user interface according to HIG?
