Its a very good application, but some bugs have to be fixed, like the very low reactivity of the editor and crushes when trying to copy/cut/paste long strings.

I bought this app to edit some scripts on the go and it cant handle even one of them. Loading scripts renders the app completely unusable. I paid 2$ for an app that crashes after 5 minutes of use. If I could get a refund, I would.

Glad it has file saving ability but no block indenting and undo didnt bring my lost code back. Also, why include a manual save option if the app is going to auto save unwanted changes anyway? So close to being useful for more than code snippets but these bugs make it too risky to do anything beyond a few lines.

Ever since the update on feb 2, it has been crashing a lot while using the interpreter, and the output on the interpreter screen is broken and has no sense of vertical line spacing. Please fix, will write a new review when fixed.

Since the latest update, the interpreter has been crashing more often than usual. Also, every string with letter characters is being input as Unicode, such that type(a) && type(test) == Unicode, not str.

Cannot import sympy. Crashes from the latest update ( 2feb13 ) Cant wait till it works 100%

With the latest 1.5.4 update, Python for iOS is back to being one of my favorite and most productive apps. Glad to see SymPy included in the modules.

Python 2.7 for iOS is amazing! Never again do I need to use my laptop for those quick python scripts!

App has big problems - crashes on launching. Please fix latest version - do not buy this app until the reviews get better!

Sooo happy to be getting back to work on the train. Also the author is working on numpy, scipy, and matplotlib. Which will make this app a full-fledged great, really great. Thanks.

I put in perfectly valid code and at random instances it gives me syntax errors.

This has major bugs that will lock the app and force me to reinstall it and loose all my data. Please fix!!!

This is more than just a simple shell -- its a really well written wrapper with some solid features and it transforms iOS devices into things you can do Real Work (TM) with. Very happy.

on my iPhone 5 on iOS 6 it isnt even useable. it doesnt load.

I cannot transfer any file to this app, just creating and typing a knew one. So I had an idea of sending the text to my email, copying it and pasting on a new file. But, when I do it, the app goes crazy, closes and becomes useless. Then the only way to use it again is reinstalling it and losing all my data.

This is amazing. I am thoroughly impressed by this app. Those who seem to be complaining about their iPhone experiences are being a bit unreasonable, I think. Its a terrific iPad app. One of the most impressive educational apps, Ive encountered so far.

I bought this app six months ago under the assumption that numpy support was "around the corner." Thats what the message board led me to believe.

Has all the libraries i use! Can really do a lot!! Would like some sort or import/export capability - but you actually could write one, given the level of network and file support included!!!

I was able to work in one session and now it is frozen up every time I start it, even after shutting down the iPad. Ill dig some more but so far not the best experience. I was finally able to delete the app from the iPad and reinstall it from the App Store and it seems to be working.
